Eligibility Criteria

  • B.E. or M.E. (or equivalent) in mechanical discipline with excellent academic performance
  • 6-9 years of product designing experience
  • Experience with OEM industries is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Creo with parametric modelling (including surfacing) is must
  • Experience in overall pump development
  • Knowledge of Engines, Electric Motor, Mechanical Seal/Seal System, Coupling, Valve etc.
  • Hands-on experience about fits, GD&T and tolerance stake-up
  • Sound knowledge of mechanical product designing, manufacturing and fluid mechanics
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of sheet-metal and weld design
  • Understanding of fundamentals of fabrication
  • Basic knowledge of metallurgy
  • Influential interpersonal skill
  • Adaptability to work for cross-functional/culture and time zones

Job Description

  • Interpret pump design specifications and support concept design, detail engineering and testing
  • Create components and next higher level assembly design using Creo
  • Ensure manufacturability, material and adaptability
  • Review appropriate standards, regulations and specifications for testing
  • Perform basic engineering calculations as required
  • Provide technical assistance as needed to the Operations, Engineering and Manufacturing
  • Independent work execution as well as with team
  • Communication with cross-functional/regional teams
