Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Technical skills required include three-dimensional computer design engineering skills, including sheet metal and plastic part design.
7+ years of experience using the PTC Creo CAD tool and PTC Windchill for CAD data file management.
Skills to manage engineering changes, bill of material creation, cost estimating, and tolerance analysis are required.
Knowledge of server industry standards and compliance industry standards is expected.

Create in-house developed server designs including printed circuit board layouts, structural sheet metal enclosures, and plastic part designs in our next-generation servers.
Work with architects to close on a design concept, then develop and validate the design.
Candidate must be capable of creating designs, evaluating other team member’s designs, and solving design bugs when they arise Write test plans and conduct thermal tests to qualify the design
Candidate must be able to work in a close team environment, interacting with the thermal, power, system, and extended team members, to achieve a design, which meets the business and marketing requirements.
In addition, this candidate will be responsible for contributing to common building block designs used across our portfolio.
Solve design bugs when they arise.
