Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product design or electromechanical systems development, from concept to production.
  • Proficiency in CAD modeling tools such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or AutoCAD.
  • Experience with low-fidelity and medium-fidelity rapid prototyping.
  • Hands-on experience with Multiphysics FEA simulations, functional testing, and reliability assessment.
  • Expertise in conducting CFMEA assessments and designing mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to research, analyze patents, and document findings to guide innovation.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a first-principles approach to challenges.
  • Excellent research and documentation skills to identify trends and benchmark new technologies.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Passion for innovation and creating transformative products.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a drive for hands-on prototyping and research.

  • As an R&D Mechatronics Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in solving complex problems, driving innovation, and collaborating across teams to bring advanced kitchen automation solutions to life.
  • Create new product categories or technologies that push the boundaries of kitchen automation.
  • Solve complex problems by formulating hypotheses grounded in first principles and validating them with proofs of concept.
  • Collaborate with culinary teams to explore and implement cutting-edge applications in kitchen automation.
  • Define technical specifications from high-level requirements, transforming undefined needs into actionable goals alongside the systems engineering team.
  • Validate early-stage concepts using low-fidelity rapid prototyping techniques to test feasibility and refine ideas.
  • Develop 3D part and assembly designs using advanced CAD tools, iterating quickly through prototyping cycles.
  • Build functional prototypes and collaborate with NPD Engineers and Industrial Designers to bring ideas to life.
  • Validate designs with medium-fidelity prototypes that closely mimic production manufacturing and architecture.
  • Conduct CFMEA assessments to identify risks and design robust mitigation strategies.
  • Define testing cases and, when needed, conduct reliability testing to ensure product durability.
  • Perform complex Multi-physics FEA simulations to validate critical aspects of the design.
  • Develop and execute functional testing plans to meet performance and safety standards.
