Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering from accredited program
  • Proficient in the English language and must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent learning ability

Things To Remember

  • Candidate should be able to use all the software’s like AFT Arrow/Fathom for hydraulic calculations, Smart Plant P&ID, Navisworks for piping model review and Autopipe for Stress calculations.
  • Candidate should be capable of applying the intensive knowledge acquired during engineering and co-relate with the trainings provided to do engineering calculation and system design.
  • Candidate should be confident and must be able to take responsibilities and coordinate with US counterparts.
  • Candidate should be able to work effectively with staff in different teams.

Job Description

  • Understanding project requirements and completing all duties assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Shadowing senior members, asking questions, and assisting wherever possible.
  • Raising concerns and making suggestions for improvement where appropriate.
  • Participating in meetings and attending workshops and other training initiatives.
  • Taking notes and sharing your findings with your supervisor.
  • Establishing professional relationships with the team and colleagues.
  • Maintaining a high degree of professionalism and diligence.
  • On technical side, candidate would be performing system hydraulic calculations including pump selection, sizing, and application.
  • Pipe and valve sizing including selection of appropriate piping materials and valve types for applications.
  • Selection of control valve including definition of control valve requirements and datasheets.
  • Preparing/creating deliverables like process flow diagram, P&ID, valve lists, line list, standard detail sheets for constructing/installation of new or modifications of existing power generating facility mechanical systems.
  • Preparing datasheets and specifications, reviewing piping model, piping plans and isometrics.
