Leads planning, coordination, and execution of capital projects targeting improved quality, performance, and cost through Development originated technology and capital Process Development provided capital
Provides input to local process owners, leverages access to metallurgical analysis, and leads manufacturing associate problem-solving during high fall out events.
Serve as regional expert in NDE disciplines for manufacturing training support. Acts as a mentor to internal associates and as a standards provider to external NDE vendors, and communicates with vendors and manufacturing including periodic onsite review. Write standard operating procedures and work instructions for all NDE in the lab.
Reprents Timken during external customer audits through explanation of Timken standards, and links Timken standards to both customer and industry requirements.
Contribute to innovations regarding the application of NDE to enhance the Timken Company's technical capabilities and competencies for creation of value and strategic advantage. Publish – weekly – monthly – quarterly technical reports, calibration reports, customer requests forms, and lab samples.
